International Advanced Mobility Forum Part Ⅱ. Talk to Advanced Mobility

The connected vehicle market is one of the highest growth areas of the Internet of Things, with a potential application revenue of $USD 253 billion by 2025 (Machina Research, 2017). 16:20-17:00Korea auto industry, What is the direction of innovation for the future?

The automotive industry is anticipating drastic changes due to innovative factors such as autonomous driving, e-mobility, and shared economy. In addition, artificial intelligence technology, which is based on the success of the deep learning, is becoming a driving force expediting such changes. It is thus of utmost importance to accurately forecast the future automotive technology and strategically prepare for such overwhelming changes. In this talk, I will insightfully review automotive AI technology that will serve as the brain of future automobiles. Then I will explore ways to develop a computing platform for automotive AI that will lead Korea as an IT powerhouse in the future automotive industry.
